A new milestone on its history. 

ALUCOIL keeps supporting sports and investing in Miranda de Ebro. Last Thursday, Club Deportivo Mirandes added a new milestone on its long history. For 2^nd time ever reached semifinals at Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup), beating with lots of energy and effort some of Spain strongest rivals such as Celta, Sevilla or Villareal.

Club Deportivo Mirandes has become the only 2^nd division team reaching semifinals in last 15 years, proving again that effort, illusion and commitment have its reward. After the drawing results, next game will take place on February 20^th against Real Sociedad. ALUCOIL would like to send all its support and energy to keep making history and reach the final.

Yesterday, Thursday 23rd January, the new offices of the ALIBERICO GROUP headquarters, from where the planning and management control of all the factories are carried out, were inaugurated. The new offices located in Madrid, more modern and sustainable, shows ALIBERICO’s new image and reflects its commitment to the welfare of people and respect for the environment.

The event was inaugurated by its President Clemente González Soler and was attended by the Mayor of Madrid, Mr. José Luis Martínez-Almeida, the Regional Counsellor of Economy, Employment and Competitiveness of the Community of Madrid, Mr. Manuel Giménez, and the prestigious and renowned architect Mr. Julio Touza, as well as employees, suppliers and close friends.

The remodelling project has been possible thanks to the commendable work of the team of the Touza Arquitectos studio, who have designed and coordinated the entire project from its initial design phase to its final execution. It is worth mentioning especially their involvement in the project and professionalism, taking care of every detail.

Manuel Giménez, Counsellor of Economy, Science, Competitiveness and Employment of the Community of Madrid visited the factory of ALIBERICO FOOD PACKAGING, the largest manufacturer of semi-rigid aluminium food containers in Spain, located in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).

Accompanied by Clemente González Soler, president of the ALIBERICO GROUP, Manuel Giménez visited all production facilities and met personally the team of ALIBERICO FOOD PACKAGING. Both highlighted the importance to support the growth of businesses and industry, as the main engines of the economy.

During his visit, Manuel Giménez has shown a great interest in the recycling and sustainable system of the factory, which has a very efficient system by which 100% of the aluminium scrap from the production lines is collected by suction and stacked for its later smelting and reuse.

José Manuel González Plaza Manager of ALUCOAT was present at the ceremony and was the one who picked up the prize last Friday.

These awards presented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry recognize the work and effort of the companies in Linares (Jaén). These awards want to recognize the contribution to the economy of the city moreover to recognizing the achievement and efforts of entrepreneurs and businesswomen of Linares.

ALUCOAT from the very beginning has been closely connected to Linares and its citizens, having become an important industrial reference for the city. Its more than 25.000m2 of productive facilities and its continuous expansion and grow plans generate an important wealth for its social, labor and economic environment.

The jury was composed by Raúl Caro-Accino Menéndez Mayor of Linares; Pilar Parra Ruiz Vice President of Deputation of Jaén; José María Villén Vice President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Linares; Patricio Lupiáñez Cruz President of CETEMET; Juan Carlos Hernández Camero  President of ACIL (Asociation of merchants and industrialist of Linares) and María Jerez Carrillo Manager of Chamber of Commerce of Linares wanted to recognize the great work and importance that ALUCOAT has in Linares.
