The congress, under the slogan <strong>&#8222;The Spain that Leads,&#8220;<\/strong> brought together leaders and experts from different fields to discuss strategic topics, including sustainability, tourism, and infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>This congress, led by <strong>Aldo Olcese Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, <strong>president of SOCIA and the organizing committee<\/strong>, aimed to promote a vision of excellence in areas where Spain can be outlined internationally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mar\u00eda Gonz\u00e1lez, Counselor and Director of Marketing and Sustainability at ALIBERICO<\/strong>, had an important role in the round table titled <strong><em>&#8222;Spain as a Global Leader in Sustainability.&#8220;<\/em><\/strong> In this session, she shared the stage with influential figures such as <strong>Juan Costa Climent<\/strong>, former Minister of Science and Technology; <strong>Enrique Riquelme Vives<\/strong>, president of Grupo Cox; <strong>Mar\u00eda Rotondo Urcola<\/strong>, board member of Telef\u00f3nica and sustainability expert; and <strong>Pierre-Nicola Fovin<\/strong>i, CEO of Finanzauto and vice president of STET.<\/p>\n<p><strong>During her intervention, Mar\u00eda Gonz\u00e1lez explained how ALIBERICO has turned into a green industry<\/strong> through its corporate strategy, shifting from a linear to a circular economy within the group with the <strong><em>Iberfoil Integra<\/em><\/strong> investment project. She emphasized the relevance of industry in Spain due to its high positive social impact through stable, quality employment, and highlighted that industry can also have a low environmental impact thanks to <strong>technological innovation<\/strong>. This innovation enables the development of highly efficient processes, reduces waste, revalue it, and creates 100% recyclable products.
